This is very simply a statement of FACT. Aqualisa have the highest flow rates of any shower in the UK. This is due to properly machined internals on mixer valves causing least pressure drop coupled with the widest bore of any shower hose and least resistance of shower head. If you have an Aqualsia shower you will invalidate warranties by fitting lesser kit and also get a sh!te shower too.

Since introducing digital showers, there has been no innovation from them and others now offer more sophistication so they continue to loose guys like me who design and fit bathrooms. This loss has been made worse by them reducing the specification on their digital systems and increasing installation costs - the fools!

Is this caused by the type of hose and head we have bought? Should we have stuck with the aqualisa? I am tempted to get it out of the bin and try and get a new fastening!

May just have been a leaky hose or washer. The head may also have had a lot of limescale build-up. You can dissolve limescale by soaking the shower head in vinegar overnight.

Wow, just noticed the date! That shower head/hose is probably buried deep in a landfill somewhere!
