Shower Head For Low Water Pressure

Hi,
I apologise for the long post and my ignorance, but I hope someone can help!
I have a low water pressure gravity system although the water flow when I'm having a shower is good.
I need a new shower hose, so after asking around, I shall be getting the following 1.5m Stainless Steel Hose from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-50-METRE-S-STEEL-SHOWER-HOSE-DOUBLE-LOCK-LARGE-BORE_W0QQitemZ110445714639QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_Bathroom_Shower_Units_PP?hash=item19b713dccf
I also need a new low pressure, high water flow shower head. I currently have a very old white chunky shower head, that has a lot of small spray holes and does a good job, but needs replacing. However, it is still more effective than more contempary shower heads on the market, for example I bought the following shower head from B&Q but ending up going back to this old one due to the new one's water flow being poor even though it is supposed to be suitable for my low water pressure system:

This shower head from B&Q also had fewer and smaller spray holes in it. I believe modern shower heads are low flow designs to save water consumption.
1) When I choose a shower head should I go for a low pressure one with many and small holes to ensure high water flow or does that not make a difference?
2)Are modern low pressure shower heads going to have slow water flow than older
ones any way?
3) Any of the following shower heads you would recommend:
a) (I'm buying the hose from this seller)

b) (It has received good reviews from Argos customers)

4) Any shower heads you can recommend from the internet that will be compatable with my low water pressure system and provide high water flow like my current old shower head?
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Jay

I tried a few different shower heads but found that Aqualisa had the best water throughput and for me that gave the most powerful shower.
They are not cheap, but I think that the old adage ' you get what you pay for' is true here.

+1 for Aqualisa I'm afraid - they really are outstanding - and we've tried several.0

I am going to be following this, as we had shower replaced in our rental house recently, and from a decent shower it became a complete rubbish one. Landlord got Bristan Artisan one, and there is no pressure at all. I couldn't even rinse out my hair! We have Mira electric shower in the main bathroom, and when I tried to swap the heads, I could see the difference straight away.
So, I am interested in a new shower head too - unless we can get landlord to put a pump in the loft.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I ended up buying the Mira RF1 Response Single Spray shower head........the shower is forceful with good water flow due to the small holes it has and it's even better than my old shower head!.......ideal for low pressure systems and probably one of the best you can buy:)

I'm using it with a new stainless steel Large Bore shower hose I bought........great combination!

Hi, sorry to but into this thread but you may be able to help.
Yesterday hubby replaced our old aqualisa shower head and hose because the bit attaching the two was split.
I don't know the make of the replacements but they were not aqualisa and cost about £20 from plumb world - I think in the sale.
This morning when I took a shower, I noticed a huge difference in water pressure from the new head.
Is this caused by the type of hose and head we have bought? Should we have stuck with the aqualisa? I am tempted to get it out of the bin and try and get a new fastening!
Thanks.'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -
We've tried a number of them too - the aqualisa was good - we also have this ecocamel in our caravan and it's performed pretty well.. a little noisy, but I think the newer ones are better - water saving showerheads0
