old paypal account problems

I had a paypal account, used it twice for ebay then my credit card expiry date change. No problem I thought , log onto paypal and change it;wrong, first my password was apparently wrong ( I wrote it down carefully) then the account was suspended and has remained like that for several years.rang paypal but they were useless.

tried to buy something on line by credit card, not paypal) but all I got was a message that both my email accounts are registered to paypal and I should login. Durr!!!!!

why would 2 sites try to connect to my paypal account when I wanted pay directly by credit card.

Hope the new google payment system is better.

paypal is terrible. I bought a laptop for a few hundred pounds on ebay and because it was a large amount, paypal treated it as "suspicious", suspended my account and months on I still can't get it reinstated.. nightmare. the customer service is rubbish. I hope the google one is better as well. It probably will, knowing google (great email and search engine).
