Wish they would call us :( Those who have been called have you the full package? We have the basic and a few mixes now (cut it back).

Has anyone had theirs installed yet? Ours was on Weds, all went fine apart from sound on television is definately quieter than before! Having to have it around 20 to hear, whereas before it was around 10. Seems a strange side effect!

If you go onto the services menu on the sky box, then system set up, then sound, it will let you adjust the sky volume from there. Well thats on the SKY+ Box but should be something similar with your HD Box

The newest Sky HD EPG (Electronic Program Guide) doesn't have a volume adjustment so you're stuck with factory default unlike the Sky+ boxes. You will know if you have the new EPG if you get a MiniTV in the top right when in tv guide and the layout is a lot nicer but shows fewer channels at a time.

I've got a new one then.

PS you can get rid of the mini pick in the settings if you just want to see more channels

It can be turned off by doing the following:

Click Services on your remote which takes you to the Options screen.
Navigate down into this menu by pressing - you got it! - the down arrow on your remote
Navigate left twice and Customise should now be highlighted
Press down arrow into this menu and the first option is to turn the Mini TV on or off
Make sure you press green to save the settings (the prompt is on screen for this anyway)

I've never turned it off before as it's handy to preview a channel before you watch it or if you need to do something like set up a recording but be able to see and listen to the channel you're watching.

no, no extra payments at all...they were very specific about the fact that this was all completely free of charge. I hope you get your phone call, couldn't have happened at a better time as our sky+ box is starting to play up a bit. The package we have is sports/movies (currently on half price as we ring to "cancel" every 6 months), ESPN, and a couple of the entertainment mixes. Don't have multiroom, although we used to have it.
