The Nokia X6 has similar video playing capabilities to the 5800, N97 and N97 mini models - the software is the same. It may be useful to find out from someone who owns one of those phones about the formats of videos which will play, and whether you would need to convert your favourite files to make them compatible with the phone.

With regard to online streaming video, there are the YouTube and iPlayer apps (really web widgets with the capabilities to play videos) which will allow you to watch YouTube and BBC programmes respectively.

Certainly there are differences in storage capacity between them which affect the total amount of video you can carry on the phone. The X6 has 16GB (32GB if you buy the Comes with Music version) of onboard memory, which is good for at least a few hours' of video files.
