I was not overdrawn but A/L charge a fee if you do not deposit £500 per month!

I have just recieved a letter from A/L Complaints resolver

......"My understanding of your complaint is that you requested for your account to be closed during Jul 07. The closure has not been carried out and you have incurred underfunding fees as result of this matter"

"Having checked your account, I find no record of your closure request. Having said this, I note that you have not used your account and as such I have arranged for the fees, totalling £265 to be refunded to your account and for your account to be closed, as a resolution of your complaint.

"I hope that this matter has now been resolved to your satisfaction".......

What a result. After the posts listed here, I felt that I was on to a loser, and would have to be paying out after all.
