I got my mum some earrings and a small pack of choccies as she's on a diet. My brother's getting her a DVD she wants. I'm hoping she likes the earrings, she'd wanted something similar ages ago but couldn't find the right kind of thing.

I was thinking of buying a few goldfish for the garden pond for my Mum to replace the two that got entombed in the ice this winter.

my mum's getting a new bag that will go perfectly with an outfit she's wearing to a wedding next month, and a card with a photo of the two of us on.
The bag was a real bargain in the debenhams sale and the card was only 50p from bonusprint so I haven't spent much (less than a tenner actually!) but I know the bag is something my mum will really like and it was originally quite expensive! She understands that I don't have much money at the moment so I'm sure she wouldn't mind even if she knew how cheap it was! :rotfl:

I usually get mum flowers and take her out for lunch/dinner, and depending on when Mothers Day falls each year, as its her birthday at the beginning of April.
Im in the middle of making her a photo book online with all of the pictures from our holidays the last 3 years which i hope she'll love!£2 Savers Club #156!

Aaarghh - I have no idea - far too close to Christmas and a February birthday.
She doesn't want books or cd's, is on a diet, has garden stuff coming out of her ears and gets flowers off my brothers. She's allergic to smelly stuff, for obvious reasons doesn't want anything for the house, and has had a clear out of family photos. And after a recent burglary has no wish to have any more jewellery.

I was thinking of making a shopping bag but really need to pull my finger out and decide. I wanted to make something instead of buying something this year. You can never have too many shopping bags ! that was my thinking (mums have everything else already!) ....something that will fold up and fit in a handbag or will double up as one.
