Ocado - packing raw meat with cooked meat

Ocado is insisting on packing raw meat alongside cooked meats and dairy in the carrier bags.
This week I had raw chicken packed with dairy, ham and cheese and firelighters packed in with cakes.
The food is good, but I would rather have my raw food separated. I keep it this way in my fridge, so why do they insist on putting it all together. I have phoned them but they say it's ok to do this. Well it's not ok by me and I'm paying for it.
Anyone else had this ?

Are you worried about the packaging leaking?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

There shouldn't be a problem unless the packaging leaks as the previous poster said, are all the packets the right way up and not on their sides or upside down? I guess if they are saying it's ok then they must not be breaking any raw/cooked meat rules? I often pack all my fridge items together if they are all in sealed packets, I am careful about how I pack them though. Loose deli items, fish, cheese etc. I will put in a separate bag as they are not actually sealed.0

I'm like Mirabelle - I pack all my fresh meat in a different carrier than dairy and cold meat products. Think it's my neurotic OCD raising it's ugly head. In M&S I always ask for a little bag for meat, even though I KNOW it's pretty safe.
And I can't bear anybody else doing my packing for me - not that they ask so much nowadays, obviously fewer staff.0 -
I've never had it with my Ocado deliveries. Wonder if it's a new thing.0

Christ whats wrong with some people?
How did people ever cope without date labels and packaging.
Its not like they are placing raw meat and cooked meat on top of each other without packaging.0 -
I never said there was any logic to this...................0

If it bothers you that much, OP, can't you go and do your own shopping? As far as I know Ocado doesn't charge any extra for packing....................I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
