Hooray, it's almost goodbye Tiscali aka Talk Talk!

Well folks, today is my last full day with Tiscali. (talk talk)
By 8pm Tomorrow (Friday) hopefully I shall be back with Bt for line rental n calls.
Shame I couldn't leap frog straight to 02 home phone and broadband. All being well I shall take o2's broadband though.
It is such a relief to know that I will be seeing the back of you know who!!!! Do you think they will shed as many tears as I have?!!?
Wonder how many will join me???????????

Not only have they welcomed me back to Tiscali Broadband NOW they have billed me for a whole month of my old package.
They must of known I have left them because my caller display is pro-rata.
I have cancelled my Direct Debit, customer services said I should pay this bill and get refunded on my last bill.
What a shower.0 -
Did you ask Tiscali to cancel the broadband before you moved to BT for your line rental? If not, it could be that Tiscali are reconnecting your broadband on the newly activated BT line. If that's the case, cancelling your Direct Debit will only screw up your credit rating, if Tiscali haven't canceled your account properly.

I've had the same weird, conflicting mix of emails, letters and phone calls. I have left them for BT, then got a letter saying welcome to Talk Talk! I paid a bill on 1st feb and started with BT on 10th feb. The letters confirming cessation of services said "as soon as your new service is live we (Talk Talk) will stop billing you and your account will be terminated." I had a phone call today (automated call, no person on the other end) to say I owed over £30. I too cancelled my direct debit when my new service went active (having heard horror stories about TalkTalk billing). I concede I may owe something for the 9 days between last paid bill and leaving, but Im damned if im paying a whole month. In fact, the amount they say I owe is well above the monthly bill so don't know what they're talking about. Have written a letter to customer services, but in the mean time they can wait.0
