Cider sounds good Snaggs.
The good thing about dark evenings is that it doesn't feel so naughty when wine o'clock arrives early. Now it's light I feel that I must wait a little.
And yet on a summer's evening outside it seems ok.
I suppose I could draw the curtain so it's dark or go sit outside.
Random thoughts of a daft bookie.0 -
Snaggles - what a nightmare. Luckily we had a few days notice on world book day. My oldest went to school in normal home clothes - he was a normal boy from a Louis Sachar book (but they may be a bit old for Ryan at the moment but worth remembering for future years???).

My son is a vegetarian of sorts now-he only eats pepperoni, sausages and chicken nuggets ie PROCESSED meat. Oh, and ham...
Hehehe, kids!
I have to be sneaky to get them to eat decent food. Ryan thought the pittas were 'kind of like McDonalds' because they had beef, onions, cheese and ketchup in...and carrot sticks on the side. That is high praise indeed from him. :rotfl:
The day before yesterday I made chicken pasta bake, and managed to hide tomatoes, peppers, celery, carrots and courgettes in it. :T
I grate carrots and whizz spinach and tomatoes in the blender, and hide them in pasta sauces, curries etc (also sometimes hide pineapple, apple and raisins in curry - gives a nice, sweet spiciness!). They also get microwaved apples stuffed with sultanas with ice cream for dessert quite often, and we do lots of fruit salads with exciting-looking fruit in.
I put raisins in their cereals in a morning, and puree bananas/strawberries etc (depends what is cheap!) into their milk in an evening. I am truly devious when it comes to giving them their 5 a day."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

*passes Bookie a cider*
It's bright and sunny here, so it counts as a summer evening. :T
Bunny, Ryan would far rather eat processed rubbish. I know full well that both you and I have both always offered them a healthy balanced diet, so the fact that they would rather have cardboard burgers and sawdust nuggets is just a kid thing rather than them being exposed to too much carp, I am certain (and keeping them away from junk altogether is counter-productive, just makes them rebel as soon as they are old enough).
Dangers, good thinking! He would have loved an excuse to go in wearing jeans! :T
Hehe Claire, there isn't much room...can offer you the loft or the shed?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
