Afternoon! Phewwww, stressful day. Ryan announced at 8am that he NEEDED a costume for today for World Book Day.

Despite bundling them straight in the car still eating their toast, dragging them to both Asda and Sainsburys I couldn't get him anything, so he had a huge stress, took ages to calm down and I finally got him into school at about 9.10 (only 5 minutes late for registration, but annoying as he didn't have any late marks this term until now).

So because he was late, me and Natasha were both late too, so I had to work late, which meant I was late picking Natasha up, and arrived at school to pick Ryan up at 3.31pm...to find him in the playground having another stress because I was late (one bluddy minute!!). :rotfl:

Plus work was manic today - actually quite enjoyed it, but very stressful and rushed off my feet.

Now have pear cider :D (not really a cider drinker but bought some to go in pork casserole) and have made hot beef and onion in pitta breads for the kids, which they are wolfing, with melon, grape and pink lady apple fruit salad for dessert.

    Annnnnnnd relax!

Did you make a cake in the end Luc? Think you said you might for one of the birthday celebrations. Did you both have fun? :)

I did that last week with DD Snags-forgot it was swimming and apparently she was in bits when she got to school-Childminder called me and I could hear DD crying-send Dh flying over after work but know how you feel...

My son is a vegetarian of sorts now-he only eats pepperoni, sausages and chicken nuggets ie PROCESSED meat. Oh, and ham...

Where I was going with that lost post is-if I make anything like a stew, or a roast DS wont eat it if it has meat in it. He won't eat a roast chicken but WILL eat a nugget...so your meal sounds gorgeous Snags-beef and onions in pittas sounds LUSH.

Now, DD on the other hand, is a pure carnivour-anything that moo's, bleats or oinks and she will nom it!
