Hi
I have my latest iphone and have given the old ones to relatives. I have been trying to get the codes to unlock the two older phones and am getting nowhere with O2.
I email them and they dont get back, I have emailed them from and they say they will txt me the codes - but they havent.
spoke to them yesterday and they say they will unlock my new phone (which isnt what i asked) within 4 days.
but i have to call them from my old phones to get the codes. which may take 14 working days.
This has been going on now for about 10 weeks. I dont think about it everyday bc the phones now belong to the rellies but every so often they ask me.
Any ideas how to get the unlock codes?

Have you tried googling the model no of the phone + unlock code in google, there are quite a few forums that help unlock phones, you could try those to, search for phone unlocking forum see if any can help.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
I don't think the iPhone works that way.
The Service provider tells Apple it needs unlocking and Apple do something in the database, so the next time you sync it in itunes it unlocks.0 -

Have you synced the old phones in iTunes recently? That is how they are unlocked once Apple have processed it.0 -
Have you tried O2's website for unlocking iphones?
http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/unlockmyiphone.html
I appplied to get the phone unlocked and received a message from o2 about 1 week later informing me they had unlocked it.
I think you have to then sync the iphone with itunes as mentioned in the previous post.0
