I'm not sure how much it cost's, but we had a new tank fitted some months ago with a system called "Watchman". You plug a small device, looks like a plug, into a normal electrical socket and it tells you how full the tank is. It has worked perfectly and means during the winter you don't need to go outside to look at the tank. I beleive it can be hooked up over the internet so that when your fuel gets low, the oil company can re-fill the tank without you having to make a call.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0

If you go onto automatic top up from your oil company, you will PAY alot more for your oil. I work for one & trust me they love people who sign up for auto top up.if i had known then what i know now0 -
I have one of those perspex tubes on the outside however if I want to be sure I just use a 99p brush shaft from a cheapie shop .. works perfectly every time.
