I have been quoted £18 per hour, per cleaner for domestic cleaning. I wondered if this is now the going rate!? I am intending to get further quotes but if this is what I can expect it is much more than I had expected and therefore I shall not bother!!
We are w. yorkshire based.
Thank you!
£18 does seem a bit crazy! ...I used a site called buzwon.com the other day for something else, but it would work for this as well i think. The idea is you post your requirements, in your case "I need a cleaner", and cleaners local to you would submit their price. The bit I liked is that no one knows what the other has bid! so the quotes will always be competitive.... its not that busy yet, think its new, but its a great idea0 -

I pay a cleaner £10 an hour in Surrey, we supply all cleaning products etc.
She usually does a 3-4 hour session for us.0
