ex wanting items of property from me

what do i do, my ex got me one of those deals from carphone wearhouse where you sign up to a broardband dongle contract and get the laptop free. it was all in his name but i was paying for it and always have done an plenty of time..he has always taken the payment out of the csa money he gves me and there has never been any probs with this agreement between us...until january. he refused to pay csa money to me so i went back to csa and they are now dealing with him...but he paid the laptop that month without question, then last week he asked for this months payment and i reminded him that because of his failure to pay csa i am now £300 down and cant afford to. he has now been to police asking them to get his property back for him....in the divorce papers he sent there was a list of property he wanted back but the laptop was not listed and he now has everything off that list. in my eyes the dongle is the contract and the lap top was a free gift so surely i only have to give him the dongle back....not the lap top. as for the list of stuff mentioned in the divorce, surely he cant keep adding to this as and when he pleases

The police won't get involved as it is a civil matter, you need to speak to a solicitor.0

Hmm i think it depends, if he can prove it is his e.g. receipt then he can call the police and say you have stolen it , do you think he would go that far?0

that wouldnt stop him, our daughter got paid £150 last week, her first every wage, he took £100 off her for 2 months phone bill so she is ahead with it. this has left her £50 to get her through the month.....he just dont careI think he is being petty and awkward. Give it back to him. Get your daughter a PAYG and get rid of this person as financially as possible. Things like this drag on and on; it won't stop at this, something else will happen etc.0
