Avira anti virus removal problem

ok have done as you suggested. got rid of pc tools but still unable to permanently delete the avira or avast. all but one of the files you told me to chexk and fix has been deleted apart from O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [avast!] C:\PROGRA~1\ALWILS~1\Avast4\ashDisp.exe
Use the AVAST REMOVAL TOOL ~

By the way, im pretty sure there no such thing as a tool to remove AVIRA

sorry i'm being really thick now. the symbol where as i dont have a desktop icon for avast
i've just found a couple of files in the recycle bin for avast the home set up icon and a file folder......0 -
