Avira anti virus removal problem

hi guys i had AVIRA antivir personal on my laptop. The free trial ran out so I deleted the desktop icon and tried to delete the files through the add/ remove programmes via control panel. However there is still one file there and it wont let me delete/uninstall it properly as it comes up with 'setup could not determine the feature control file or was not able to read it properly'

i've also tried re-installing it to uninstall but still having problems. I've also tried downloading the Avira Antivir removal tool but thats useless.

Seem to be having same problems with avast file too.

help please

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

I didn't think Avira free personal had a time limit?

Seem to be having same problems with avast file too.

Are you saying to have been running 2 AVs?

Your downloading trials which are NOT recommended at the best of times

Either choose a free product (AVIRA, AVAST, AVG or MICROSOFT SECURITY)
Or choose a pay product (Kaspersky for example)

Ive asked for a hijack log as your more then likely making a mess of your computer so I need to see whats running

Im amazed your system runs at all
    You have ~
    AVIRA
    AVAST
    PC TOOLS
    all running together

    Uninstall PC TOOLS AV
Then attempt to uninstall AVAST and AVIRA

    And still on SP1
    Move along, nothing to see.
