Help needed about O2 tariff
Options
I've finally got my new mobile sorted out after ordering a Samsung D800 on O2 250 from mobileshop.com.
I'm trying to figure out what I can do with my 250 anytime xnet inclusive minutes per month.
From postings on this thread I know that I can call 0844, 0845 & 0870 but the t&c quoted below does not list 0844 as a local call number but I assume that it is. Also included are free phone numbers so that means 0800 & 08000 I guess.
Reading through the rest can anyone confirm the following :-
1. Picture & video messages will come out of the inclusive messages at a cost of four text messages.
2. There is 1 month rollover for O2 250 even though http://www.o2.co.uk/assets/O2HybridNav/Static-files/PDFs/PAYMTHLYPLANSFINALJULY20.pdf
says there isn't.
3. "WAP over GSM data calls" will come out of the inclusive minutes.
and finally what are " WAP over GSM data calls"? Is it some form of primitive phone internet? I really hope so because otherwise I will have about 220 minutes per month spare and going to waste.

"UK Fixed Line Calls include calls made in the UK to standard UK Fixed-Line numbers, voicemail menu access and retrieval, fax calls, and calls to free phone, local rate and national rate numbers (0845 and 0870). On O2 200, 250, 400, 600 and O2 Max voicemail menu access and retrieval is free and not decremented as part of your inclusive minutes. Inclusive minutes include UK fixed line calls, WAP over GSM data calls, calls to O2 mobiles and calls to other UK mobiles ("cross network"). Inclusive messages include texts sent in the UK to UK mobiles, texts sent from abroad, picture messages and video messages sent in the UK. Sending one UK text uses one message. Sending one text message from abroad uses four messages. Sending one picture or video message in the UK uses four messages. Texts sent to international numbers from the UK are excluded from the inclusive message allowance and are charged at 16p, except for customers subscribed to Discount Country or ITS who will be charged at 12p. Unused inclusive minutes and messages cannot be carried forward one month to the next except on O2 200, 250, 400, 600 and O2 Max where they can be carried over for 1 month. If you change calling plan any unused rollover minutes and messages will be lost. Unless otherwise stated, call prices are quoted by the minute, include VAT and are charged in 1 second increments, then rounded-up to the nearest second. Each call is charged excluding VAT and then rounded-up to the nearest penny. VAT is then added to the total of all charges on your bill. Minimum call charge 3p for standard voice calls and 6p for standard data calls. Prices are correct at time of going to print but are subject to change. Prices shown are for Direct Debit only. Different payment methods may incur additional charges. Use of the 100kb inclusive monthly data allowance is handset dependent. Unused data allowance cannot be carried forward one month to the next.
Until 28 September 2006, video calls from O2 mobiles will be charged at the same rate as equivalent voice calls and will be eligible for inclusion within the monthly inclusive calling plan minute allowance. From 29 September 2006, Video calls from O2 mobiles to other UK mobiles will be excluded from the monthly allowance and charged at a rate of 50p per minute. Charges for video calls start when the recipient accepts the call, even if the video call subsequently fails, therefore a failed call may be subject to a minimum call charge. Video calling is handset and network dependant. Use of 3G is subject to 3G coverage."
