PAYG 0800 numbers??

Pay as you go providers when ringing 0800 toll free numbers are there any UK providers that offer free calls for these numbers.... Do all of them charge.....Does any one know of a moblie provider pay as you go provider that does not charge for these types of calls....

    doesn't matter if you are on contract or Pay as you go, they all charge. with o2 contract it comes out of your minutes though. Used to be free on orange, but not anymore

    They are included in O2 Payg Online Inclusive x-net minutes.

    Not in the latest PAYG tariff; the fine print clearly states that all 08xx numbers are excluded and will be charged 35ppm during the day, and less during evenings and week-ends.

    That leaves O2 contracts as the only means of calling 0800 numbers without incurring extra charges or obtaining a special deal from their provider.

    They are still included in Payg INCLUSIVE Anytime Anywhere Minutes as are 0844/0845/0870 .Mind you you only get 100 of the minutes.(reduced to 50 for new online payg customers.)
