ASPARTAME was invented as an anti-ulcer drug, but was found to be useless so some dodgy trials later in which monkies given aspartame died of cancer a and then were made to come back to life and DONALD RUMSFELD who was a CEO of Searle (which invented the drug) called in some favours to get it approved, even though it was a killer. This guy does not mind killing women and children, after all he helped kill many thousands of Iraqi children so he sure as hell does not care about yours!!!

Never mind aspartamine, who invented a way of bringing dead monkeys back to life?

Or did they only do it once, and that's how we got Donald Rumsfeld, so they ditched the experiment? :D

Aspartamine really isn't a very nice chemical, but please take it in context. Sugar is also responsible for many deaths each year (It causes obesity and heart disease if taken to excess, as well as being almost solely responsible for tooth decay).

Disease & death are the same whether caused by a natural product or a manufactured one.

    I don't like aspartame, it's a horrible chemical.

Sugar is stuffed into loads of processed products and probably the majority of the Western population are overdosing on it.

    Ditto with salt.

It's easy to get all hot under the collar about artificial chemicals, because they actually have to be tested, and results published, which can then let everybody see the side effects, or even come up with theories on how the real results were buried. Great fun.

'Natural' products just get bunged in whatever.

Not the best way to go IMHO. Not as bad as being killed on a bouncey castle though...that's really tragic.

    What about it?

Brown, sweet and fizzy with no distinguishable flavour by any chance?
