Call from Sky a fake and if so, why?

I was taken in by them this morning. I was dashing out the door to work when the phone rang. She said it was Sky and it was a courtesy call to make sure everything was alright. I said it was and then she asked if we had HD. I said we did without thinking, it was only then I thought that Sky would know all our details.

I asked why she wanted to know but she had rung up by then. I will advise my husband to be aware of any further calls from Sky. It is only because my mum is ill that I answered the call in the first place.
