for posting links ' that earn him Commission '
His only interest is to drive people to Big Choice - each link has a code so they know which ' agent it has come from.
I posted a list only because I am a genuine volunteer and have been a volunteer for 22 years and there was no hidden code in the links on my server as I don't do it for commission.
Anyone who has been to Glastonbury { and I have been going since 1979 } already knows that the crew is mainly volunteers - the job that ollie123 { if there is a job as he still gets commission if a person registers for a job but then does not get the job } is ' outside ' the festival site - which may not appear important - well it is because while they expect you to start Tuesday 21st June they will not allow you onsite until Thursday 23rd at 2000hrs for those completing their day shift and from Friday 24th at 0800hrs for those completing their night shift.
I will be arriving Tuesday and will have a official GFL wrist band and will be camping inside Glastonbury so will be able to come and go as I please - some who take up that Big Choice job will miss out everything up until Friday.
I dont have a problem if ollie123 was honest and upfront but he is passing out links while hiding the real reason why he wants people to click these links.0 -

and i agreed! i just didn't see the point of bumping up an old thread when he had created an identical thread which was on the 1st page of the grabbit board.BRIANCARSON wrote: »ollie123 - while he appears ' to be doing people favours ' he is not being up front with everyone hence why he got Banned from Glastowatch

It really annoys me that people will get hope from a claimed offer when the real reason is to gain commission.
I organise a Team of fifty volunteers and all we earn each year directly goes to good causes and with no one taking a cut of any kind. { sorry but my Team is full and all allocation for this year has already been made }
I know loads who volunteer at Glastonbury and other festivals and while voluntary jobs are scarce the key is to apply at the correct time which for Glastonbury is mainly March and while some Groups do run a waiting list its all very hit and miss + of course they are more keen to recruit people who have had some form of experience although a person can be in the right place at the right time as I know that people offered places from a waiting list has to respond quickly otherwise the offer goes to someone else so its still possible to be lucky .
Good luck to anyone is still hunting for places.
