Hi, BB4U. Great idea for a thread! But if we now lose the sun, we know who jinxed it!

We like blackcurrant cordial, made strong, or fruit juices, especially mango & passion fruit.

We find fresh orange juice to be bitter when frozen. Anone else find this?

These are really economical when we have a garden full of children's friends - I can appear very generous, but it's good quality and not too expensive!

  • I bought some 'FAB' the other day - took me right back to the 1960's (and I'd forgotton I didn't like them then)

Best flavour are those covered in chocolate!

I think I've had enough chocolate to last me a lifetime!!
I own a chocolate fountain rental business!!
Funny how things are nowhere near as delicious when you are working with them.

Thankyou to all of you guys for all of these great ideas.
Have used the thanks button for all who have participated.
Will be making lots of lollies tomorrow.

Blackcurrant - made from Ribena or other blackcurrant cordial

We pureed some strawberries and diluted, that was refreshing

  • This thread is brill!! I used to love those cideapple lollies you got in cheap shops and off the ice cream man when I was little - I don't think you can get them any more unfortunately. I buy those Frube fromage frais thingies whenever they are on bogof and freeze them - they are lovely and only 30 calories! I also agree that HM Vimto ones are lovely.
