I don't know if this is really advisable but our first flat was full of damp, the walls were always mottled black, and I just used to spray Mold & Mildew remover on it and leave it. A couple of hours later, the black would have all but disappeared, without any wiping down or anything.
Careful spraying it up at the ceiling though, it's horrible stuff, you don't want to cover yourself with it. And always keep the room ventilated whilst using it, it makes me cough and wheeze.
Someone will probably shout at me now because you're not supposed to do that or something. :rotfl:

It's not an aerosol, it's a trigger spray...so you can pretend you are shooting at the mold whilst inhaling the toxic fumes.

Aerosolising just means breaking it up into little droplets. "aerosols" use a pre-compressed gas, while trigger sprays compress the air - but it's all the same...
