I'm trying to book a single ticket from London to Manchester on the 19th March preferably in the afternoon with the Daily Mail offer ...
But it keeps coming up with "the promotional tickets do not exist for the journey entered" ... have they run out? can anyone else have a try and let me know?
Thanks0 -

Thats coz it's finished...had to be booked by a certain day.
see below....
# All bookings must be made by participants at least 21 days in advance of the day you wish to travel on GNER, 7 days in advance for travel on Midland Mainline and Southern services and 1800 the day before outward travel on one Railway, Virgin Trains, First Great Western and up to or on the day of travel for Chiltern.
# Bookings for GNER close on 8 February 2007

Book it between 0700 - 1800 on the 18th March...early is best
or phone the dedicated ‘Daily Mail’ promotion line on 0870 010 1129. (BT customers will pay no more than 10p per minute). The phone lines are open 7 days a week between the hours of 08.00 and 22.00. Bookings can be made using a valid debit or credit card up to 18.00 the day before travel.0 -

Cant do the 18th. I managed to find a ticket at 1:30 on the 19th for £15 so I'll just go with that.
Quick question. I downloaded the files. Do I put the tokens on the card before printing? Or print then cut out and stick on?
Also, which card do I use or does it not matter?
Oh and lastly - if its 2 of us going do we just need 1 card with 3 tokens for both people?
Thanks!0 -

All i said to you in last post was phone on the 18th to book with Virgin as per their T&C's "one day in advance"...as u were wanting to travel on 19th u would had to have phoned them by 1800hrs on the 18th.
I printed the tokens & vouchers seperately then as u said...cut them out n stuck tokens to voucher.....i used the blue voucher i'm hoping this is ok lol
yip one card covers upto 4 travelling...have a look at the link on last past i sent you.
"A set of 3 differently numbered tokens (can include one bonus token) allows up to 4 passengers to travel on the promotional fares and passengers must travel together in both directions."0 -

Hi there... I just came accross this website and everyone seems so helpful so I thought I might be able to get some help!
I want to book a ticket to go from Euston to Stoke-on-trent on Fri 25th May (about 6pm) and return Sun 27th May (late afternoon).
I checked the Virgin Website and the cheapest I found was £49. Does anyone know of any promotional codes I could use or if it's cheaper to book the ticket nearer the time (this is the only date I can make)?
Thanks0
