Hope this is helpful...

I used the Daily Mail vouchers as downloaded from a link on this site - gave them to the guard on a "ONE" service from London to Norwich and he said - "Not sure what I'm meant to do with these" and stamped my ticket and moved on (he didn't take the vouchers), on the return journey they didn't even ask.

I'm now in total stress mode and need help please! I've spent 3 evenings so far trawling the web trying to get the best London (Luton) to Leeds deal and I'm tearing my hair out! I posted this in another part of the forum but know people have their 'favourite' bits so thought I'd try here too. My 25 year old cousin has started working for EasyJet - he started his training month on Monday and discovered that although they'll accomodate him whilst he's actually training he needs to make his own arrangements for days off. He's skint and can't afford to keep the room on at the hotel so wants to come to me but despite trying loads of combinations it all seems really expensive. He hasn't much money to spare so I want to help out. Basically he finishes at 5pm on Sunday and needs to be back for 8am on Wednesday at the cheapest possible price and not having to travel most of the night if at all possible! Can anyone point me in the right direction for split fares etc etc. He doesn't have a rail card yet but that's obviously an option. Thanks in advance

ok help pleaseee!!! dont have a railcard or anything and am looking for 2 adults leaving 4th returning 6th kings lynn to london kings cross have looked on the train line website but i cant seem to work it so i get a cheap ticket that includes the tube as well is it possible to do that??

Hi, could anyone help me out would really appreciate it, need to get from newton abbot to manchester on the 08/03 preferably arriving sometime in the afternoon. and need to return the following day.

And also from cardiff to manchester on the same date but i have a young persons railcard if that helps? i also need to return the following day.

any help would be brilliant because i have only found prices ike newton abbot £97 return and £60 from cardiff.

Re my above post.. I just want to tell you all that no conductors asked for any coupons at any point in my journey. (Both directions!) Each way my tickets were seen by 2 conductors and they just punched them as normal. No mention of coupons at all.

Arriva trains website have got an advance return ticket from cardiff to manchester return for £18 for that date. You need to be quick in booking though as the cheap tickets soon sell out.

I'm looking to go to Edinburgh on the morning/afternoon of the 4th April from Crewe and return the other way back on the 11th. Best I can currently find is £56.00 for two adult fares, is there a cheaper option hat anyone knows of?

If anyone is particularly qualified to answer the following, I would also appreciate it. I am going with my wife and my two sons, being 2 and 4 years old. I'm worried that although I don't have to pay for either of them, if the train was busy, we would not be able to get the four year old in a seat. Are these trains that leave around midday particularly busy or should i get a child seat for him to make sure? The answer would seem obvious, but if I pick one of these up and the train isn't busy, I'll be kicking myself! :rotfl:
