I'd like to get in on this, but I'm a student and my annual income is under £10,000 - would they see this and see that I'm earning under £1000 a month and automatically refuse the account?Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

You don't have to pay your wages in, just transfer in £1000 from another source. You'll still get your fiver this way.

Hi all, I also want to open this account, If I open it today, do I have to put £1000 into the account in March, or can I wait till April.
...and what if you dont put the £1000 in the account, do you simply just not get the £5, or can they close or charge you for the account?
Thanks H0 -

If you don't fund it with £1000 in a month, you don't get the fiver. They don't close the account or charge anything (unless you go overdrawn
