Poppy is such a chatterbox (like her Mummy, DH says!).
How is your ONE year old son?

He is an absolute joy - so funny and cute. I am sure everyone feels this for their children but I feel very privileged to be his mummy
I love the way that he will do anything to make people laugh and when anyone laughs he gets a proper case of the giggles

Sometimes several times a day *child* did this that Chris can't do and you know well he can't do it and may never do it so shut the !!!! up! Anyway, *ditched!* and so glad about it!
Glam, do you remember if 8.1 is high 2 hours post food? I think it is but I'm not really wanting to hear it (but headaches lots of them, thirst, peeing, tiredness....)0 -
Yay for teeth!!
I'm just off to be rude to EA's "that girl".
In household news, the baby is asleep in the crib. She went down fighting, but the sandman claimed a victory in the end and hopefully Mama and Papa can have their bed back. We've been having a talk about my job prospects and the responsibility of having a second baby soon and it's all still undecided. Is it sensible to have one while the chances are I'll be unemployed, and will pregnancy just make me more undesirable? Or will using this time to have a baby mean that I can go into next year's round of interviews fairly confident and not spend most of the first year of employment out on mat leave? EA, my comment on facebook is not aimed at anyone (except your snobby friend)... like stuck up much?
We went to Ribbyhall near blackpool a few years ago. Great holiday. We did the tower (zzzzz skanky), the wax place (loved it), doctor who museum (it rocked cos it was Who) and things outside blackpool (a castle?) The beach is skanky though, but we went outside english school hols so not too bad.0 -

When a non pregnant person has a GTT then they need a reading over 11 to be classed diabetic but in a pregnant lady it's 7.8 and above (mine was 7.8!)
Mine was always supposed to be less than 7.8 after 1 hour.
Depends what you had to eat 2hrs ago I guess - 3 Maccy D' Milkshakes, 20 donuts, 5 kebabs might explain it
There are other forms like Impaired Glucose Tolerance and Impaired Fasting Glucose which are like the first stages of diabetes - people with this get yearly bloods and are more likely to get diabetes just like us
Sounds like a trip to the docs might be in order as the symptoms are all thereA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
