    Question .....
When Dylan was in NICU we were told he may have an allergy to plasters but they wernt sure ... he has scraped his leg tonight and it keeps bleeding a wee bit .. do I put a plaster on and just keep checking it ????

They'll have used the cheap waterproof ones that are no good.

I am so mean.. DD4 has an allergy to prawns and suchlike.. and as she hasn't tried one in years I though she might have outgrown it so gave her a tiny prawn.. so she spent the rest of the day being sick :o:o:o:o

MM- I am allergic to osme plasters but okay with the ones that say hypo-allergenic on the box. I just get a bumpy rash if I use the wrong ones and it turns into what looks like a chemical burn. Not very nice...I accidentally used a non-hypo-allergenic one on my toe a couple of weeks ago and it is still bumpy and itchy!

Oh and you all have to try this

    Microwave Golden Syrup Sponge Pudding

    • 100 g self raising flour
    • 100 g butter
    • 100 g sugar
    • 30 ml milk
    • 2 eggs (beaten)
    • few vanilla essence
    • grated zest of half a lemon
    • 3 tablespoons of golden syrup
Cream the butter and sugar together. Gradually add the eggs and vanilla essence. Add the flour, milk and lemon zest. (screw that, add it all to the bowl and whiz or beat the hell out of it with a whisk)
Put the golden syrup in the bottom of a two pint bowl. Spoon the mixture on top. Place in microwave (with a plate on top). Cook for 3.5 minutes on high. Serve with custard or ice cream.

    It's nummy-nummy-in-your-tummy :D
