Thankyou hun :) He's just sat with me for five minutes and didn't cry.. novelty! (no comments about him still being up, please! :o)

OH recorded that in "his den" - hence the totally un-child-friendly-ness of wires all over the floor!

what ever works for you hun... as you know, i didn't have LO going into her cot at a reasonable hour until a few months ago (and she still ends up in with me every night) xx

Talking of ending up in with you, Rhys woke me up at 6.15am this morning, roaring cos he'd turned round in his cot and got his leg stuck in the bars (still in his sleeping bag)! I just picked him up, carried him through to our room, put him in bed and we all went to sleep again.. D5on't know why I didn't just settle him in his cot (in the middle of the night - which 6.15am is in this house! ;) - he's easily settled, just not during the day), was just on autopilot to get back to my bed asap! :o

she normally ends up in with me somewhere between 11.30 pm and 2.00 am. although the other day it wasn't until 4.45 am.

i say every night i'm going to try to get her to stay in her cot, but like you so it's about getting back to bed asap.

i am thinking she is paying more attention to her muslin or a facewasher for a comforter at the minute as she's poorly, so i might try a cuddle, bit of a drink and give her back her muslin and see if she goes off.

she's taken to screaming for long periods during the early hours at the minute. can be a few hours on and off. not sure if it's teeth as she's cut two recently and another is one it's way or if it's this sickness bug

who said this parenting lark was easy??

I'm going through something similar with Caitlyn at the minute... Since she's had the sickness bug she's been waking in the night and although she's happy not to feed back to sleep, she won't settle back in the cot at all, only in my arms...

Although we had a couple of nights where I fed her because I thought she needed the extra while she was ill and last night I paid for it with major tantrums from 1:30 till 2:15ish... Out of desperation I rubbed anbesol into her gums just in case it was teeth and put a pillow under her mattress just in case it was belly ache.... One of them worked because once I got her settled (by lying on the floor next to the cot shhhing her) she slept until 5:00, fed from both sides then slept until 7:40... I've left the pillow under her mattress for now too... You never know!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I assume it's probably teething or something normal that all babies go through but he's just whinging all the time he's with me. He's been fine with mum (been there every day Mon-Wed) but as soon as I arrive he starts crying, proper roaring. I'm not horrible to him, I don't ignore him, I sit and play with him all day. Don't know why he doesn't want me :(

I get the same with Jack - he moans and moans and as soon as Daddy gets home he's all smilies :(

I've lost a folder of photos on my phone :(:(:(:(:( I'm sure they've disappeared before & then reappeared but I've just gone to transfer the rest over and they aren't there

Am hoping they are saved to memory card :o
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
