Caitlyn has been really cryey and whingey for the last couple of days. She's got a REALLY sore bum
The skin's open a little in a few places and it really hurts her when she has a poo. She's been doing loads of little poos and it feels like I'm changing her 10 times a day! I've been putting sudocrem on and am trying to keep the nappy off a bit (for as long as I dare!).
aw jasmines bum has been like that a couple of times, always been when shes got a tooth cutting through, its awful aint it, and i always find she poo's more when its like that as well, i ended up using a cream called mohurlin, cos sudocrem didnt do anything for jasmine x
hope everyone ok? congrats fishcake!

Ohh, I want some non-iron uniform, so sick of ironing creases in the trousers and the shirts but OH said they ran out of funding before they got to his team so they still have the old uniform but with fleeces and they have to buy their own boots.Fishcake_Random wrote: »Hello ladies,
I'm here finally lol, took long enough huh?
Had my 24hour visit earlier and the midwife said Fishfinger knows my milk is comming and thats why shes being wingy. I've been trying to get her to latch on whenever she hints shes hungry but she only take a few sucks and crys, and now her lips look dry. Am I rubbish?
Congratulations FishcakeIt's still early days so I wouldn't worry yet, the thing I've learnt about babies is everything changes all the time so nothing lasts long. The mw will check on the weight and let you know if anything is wrong at which point I'm sure you can get loads of advice on here for options on what to do.

Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Thanks everyone, I was talking to OH a little earlier and dropped my biscuit on the floor and just burst into tears and had a rant about everything. He got all worried and phoned his mum for breastfeeding tips cos she breastfed all 5 of hers and she said "its day 3 of course FC is crying, its the blues" I've just seen the time and my explosion was bang on her 3 day birth anniversary lol. Might this explain it all??? Oh is nabbing a carton of ready made baby milk to top her up during my change over period and then she is back on the mummy juice propally.
I'm begining to understand the things people say about baby blues now

Home = my house is home. I love it and can't imagine ever living somewhere else. Had already said I'll probably be here until I can't manage the stairs anymore. If that happened, there are nice bungalows in the next street, sheltered accomodation flats on the main road, and nursing home a few yards further on from that
Don't think of my parents house as home. It's still the house I grew up in but they've redecorated. For some reason the second bedroom was fitted out as a master bedroom when they moved in, so they always had that room and I had the biggest bedroom. Since I moved out, they put fitted furniture into my bedroom and made that the master bedroom, so it doesn't even feel like my room now.So now, i reckon it's out of these
Wilko Dark Wood Cotbed: £134.95 delivered (& £6.50 Quidco)
or
Ebay Walnut Cotbed: £130 delivered (& £3 Quidco, £1.30 plus points)
I like the Wilko one best. Also you've got better customer service and stuff from Wilko than ebay should anything go wrong. I'd rather buy from a shop than ebay - just in case!afternoon ladiesHV just phoned to say shes coming tomorrow morning - what should i expect at 7 month check??? presume they'll ask if she can sit up - she cant, will that get me on the naughty list eeeek!!!
Charlotte couldn't sit up and was still flat on her back at 7 months, and the HV just said they would monitor her. She never got back in touch. Charlotte was flat on her back until about 11 months, and then she did everything all at once and was walking by 14 months!Fishcake_Random wrote: »Hello ladies,

Don't be daft man! Everyone thinks breastfeeding is so natural and you just pop baby on and it all falls into place. That image is what is a load of rubbish!
It takes time for both you and baby to work at it. Relax and keep trying, but don't get stressed as that makes it harder for both of you. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it shortly. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Aww, that all sounds totally normal.
Bubs loves you lots and lots because you are her mummy. BFing will get easier as you both get used to it. Soon it will be second nature to you both.
Beenie- have you decided on a cot? I think the Wilkos one matches your bed better.
Ooh, Glam, I'll drink your Flat White for you and you can have the cake. Deal?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
