Hello everyone

Not a chance of catching up, but a little hello from a happy weezl

My family are being very supportive and Fergie is not seeming at all put out by the changes to his normal world, he really likes all the visitors, who we pretend are just for him and then sneek them off after a bit to peek at Kezzie and stroke his little velvety cheeks.

We went to the hospital today for K's new baby check and it went pretty well, just one query as she couldn't get a feel on either testes having come down, so we might need to pop to the main teaching hospital.

Tomorrow is my midwife debrief and more visitors.

Kester is nice, with lots of dark dark hair and very long expressive piano players fingers. I am really glad he's here and feel much more ok again after recovering from the quickness.

DH and I are doing all his feeds and allowing ourselves to be much more atttachmenty than we did with fergus. Visitors are chopping veg and making tea and we are cuddling kester, just as it should have been with fergie.

I am wearing my shields still but I have nothing yet, tho I know that sunday will likely be niagara day, so I'm hopeful

I can't think of anything else to tell you!

More questions..
Does Daddy help much? Daddy goes out to work at 5.30am and only gets back ar 7pm, but he does bottle and bed with her everynight she lovessss him, she can be cranky and as soon as he comes in her face lights up and starts giggling . at weekends he does a lot, feeding changing, baths. and even the ironing occasionaly

How's baby's sleeping? shes always been a good sleeper, since 10 weeks shes gone to 8-8, its crept forward to 7am recently, but had 2 lie ins till 8 this week.

How are you feeling? i feel great in general, bit lonely every now and again, you have all these greats plans when on maternity leave of lunches with friends etc, doesnt always happen !!!

Any more children - existing or planned? we want 1 more, probably in about 3/4 years

Are you going back to work anytime soon? im due back July, thinking of going back 3 days tho.

Tigs- you've done amazingly expressing all this time. I have nothing but admiration for you and Elle as it can't be easy.

EA - the other ladies have already given you some fab advice, all I can say is all of a sudden it just clicks and does seem so much easier. Isla still feeds for upto an hour a time and very frequently but it's a million miles away from those first weeks where she was permanently attached. The shields may be worth a go, their the thing that's kept me feeding this long. (4 months today Gisi, where has the time gone?!)

I've packed my OH off to Leeds for the night, he only found out last night he'd won tickets to a club night so he's on the coach there now. Which means I get the bed all to myself!
