Bruno Where have you been hiding?

MFD Are you all set for your holiday? We're only away for the weekend and i'm getting stressy about packing. It'd be so much easier to stay at home.

Silly question - but Weezl made me think of it.
When you've had your baby in the pool at home, how do you empty the pool?

:j :D Huge well done to Weezl and welcome to the world Kester :D :j
  • Congratulations, Weezl, Acetate Monkey, Fergie and of course Kester You've made my day Weezl. Well done you :j:j:j

We had a dreadful night (for us, anyway) with wake-ups for food at 1:30, 4 and 5:30. I hope this is a growth spurt not a new routine!

Good news that Kindof and Elliott are improving. Hopefully we'll see Kindof back here soon.

I thought you did have a big house? You don't have to have a special dining room to eat at a table. (I'm not saying you should eat at a table - just that you don't need a dining room to do so.)

    ....
I watched a documentary about women who had had babies as teenagers in the sixties and been forced to adopt trying to trace their children. One had been in the school swimming gala at eight months pregnant, told her family at the beginning of the Christmas holidays, gave birth one week later and when she went back to school in January nobody was any the wiser.
I definitely don't have a big house (lol at the thought :)) but we do have a big kitchen that we used to have a table in but we never used it because the kitchen is grim and cold and it became a dumping ground for everything *rolleyes* we're just lazy really :)

I think the theory behind the other thread is totally believable but the detail added doesn't quite add up.
I worked with a girl who we all thought was pg as she had what looked like a 3mth ish bump but she insisted she wasn't and then she put on a bit of weight all over and the bump never got much bigger, fast forward 6mths and she went into labour at work! - you'd have thought she'd have taken a test just in case because about 10 people asked her if she was when the bump first appeared but she I presume just didn't want it to be true?? she still had monthly bleeding so she said that was enough for her to think she wasn't (and I suppose there's lots of girls/women out there that don't know much about the ins and outs of pg for that to be true)

I didn't know I was pg with Chris and just 2 weeks before I took the test was insisting to a colleague that I was definitely NOT pg :rotfl: when I told her I was she went "Told you!!!" :p

Your husband has to worry about that :T:T

I am not packed but everything is kind of hanging around and ready. I have got so much shoite on my plate at the moment that I can't be arsed getting stressed about it!

I have a bit of ironing left to do (maybe a dozen items) and then it will take me 10 mins tops to chuck it all in the cases - I am an expert packer!

I was a bit  about how much stuff Benjamin needs before I even think about clothes though!

How crazy are the developments in that kidnap in Pakistan case! there was us thinking the Dad was acting suspect and it was because he was handing over a ransom in another country!
