I'm heading off too, nite all xx
Good luck Weezl, here's hoping Kester makes a speedy appearance for you xMummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
Gosh, I go out and Kester gets a shift on! Hope all goes well weezl.. or it all calms down and you get a good night sleep
I'm clueless about labour, someone tell me, is weezl beyond the slowing back down again thing yet?
AIW was fab, and I'm soooo jealous of Alice's curls!OH is now on a campaign for me to grow my hair - it's curly like that anyway and would look nice if I could actually bare to have it that long and leave it curly
Rhys had just zonked out when we got to Mum's having been awake and playing or eating for almost nine hours! Got him in his car seat, in the car, home, out the car seat and into his cot and he's still zonked!0 -
hammy, not trying to be funny but have you tried other sleep solutions? Seems like early weaning is recommended so much these days when in actuality the problems are elsewhere...I obviously don't know anything about David's issues but I know the 1st step for any of them is to make sure he's getting plenty of day sleep - we had a real turnaround here when it clicked with me that Finn was actually getting about half of what he needed and almost miraculously he started sleeping very solidly at night. More than 1 book I have says that babies need to be put to nap after only 1.5-2hrs of awakeness. It sounds crazy, but it really does work as more sleep actually brings on more sleep.
Of course tell me shut up if you know all this already
Thanks Aless, we did know but TBH even though David doesn't sleep particularly well throughout the day he never has so I know it's not that:( It is so annoying as he had been sleeping for 11-12 hours just waking for 1 or 2 feeds *sigh*. Also, every single time he wakes now he feeds for at least 20 minutes or more....
Weezl, how exciting! The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents:D
