hammy, not trying to be funny but have you tried other sleep solutions? Seems like early weaning is recommended so much these days when in actuality the problems are elsewhere...I obviously don't know anything about David's issues but I know the 1st step for any of them is to make sure he's getting plenty of day sleep - we had a real turnaround here when it clicked with me that Finn was actually getting about half of what he needed and almost miraculously he started sleeping very solidly at night. More than 1 book I have says that babies need to be put to nap after only 1.5-2hrs of awakeness. It sounds crazy, but it really does work as more sleep actually brings on more sleep.

Of course tell me shut up if you know all this already :o

Ditto, :D always put a baby back to sleep in the morning. Maddy will sometimes sleep 3hrs.

I could feel Caitlyn rolling around in the later weeks. Can you really mistake that for indigestion? And what about the tightenings/braxton hicks?
I never had braxton hicks - just the real thing.

We had to walk through the centre of Newcastle and the city is full of people celebrating St Patricks Day. I was amused when James asked "why does Ireland have cress as it's national emblem?" :rotfl:
:rotfl: That made me laugh out loud.
