Sami - I looked in Debenhams instore before Christmas as I was thinking of getting one for my mum, and they didn't have any instore either.

MM - lovely picture of Dylan, he is really cute.

Weezl - Rmac was in contact with us on FB about the Scottish meet, so I assume she is around but just busy with her new venture perhaps.

There are loads of PPs about. On the OS board, there is Penny Pincher, Penelope Penguin and others I think. Lots of alliteration fans around I think.

H seems a bit unsettled this evening. I have been up to her a few times - just moaning in her sleep and crying out for 20 secs. Not sure if it's teething related though as her bottom has nappy rash. It's a bit spotty rather than just a wee bit red as it has been in the past when she has been teething. Think I will go to bed soon actually. Could do with an early night.

*sigh* OH is waffling about changing to shifts again.. Two of the shift guys in his dept have got their houses on the market and as soon as they sell they're moving abroad (already have houses in Malta and France), leaving their jobs up for grabs. OH will probably have to cover the shifts for at least a few weeks plus work some of his days off to actually do his normal job too, then he needs to decide if he wants days or shifts. He seems to expect me to come up with an answer and I'm too tired to think straight! :o

I ache all over, got that heavy feeling in my arms and legs :( Just waiting a lifetime for the bath then I'm off for a soak :D

    Evening all,

Just spent the evening having a mammoth catch up!

Happy Birthday, Happy Mothers Day and Congraulations.

Tara - We're overjoyed at your news, we loved the pic too.

Well done for sitting and standing babies.

Never again will I have a vaccination of any kind when I've got a cold, I've never felt so bad, I'm still not 100% as I've lost my appetite so much so that I can't even think about cooking!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

MFD Are you about still? We're in Bridgenorth this weekend, here: http://www.bullsheadchelmarsh.co.uk/
I've just looked on the map, and it seems to be close to your area. Am I correct?

MFD is off on her hollybags on Friday, I know cause I [STRIKE]stalk[/STRIKE] asked her.

OH tells me he's been having dreams about accidentally killing the baby all night. I pointed out that it was real life where that happened and he got all miffed. But then he left for work and I went into the kitchen to find a mouldy tomato sitting on the counter  I'm just waiting for him to turn up on GMail chat so I can ask him if I should move Molly and me to a hotel before he kills us both.

Hope you got your bath elle, do you think OH is asking you to which would be best for the family in an extra money for shifts vs consitancy of days?

MDW hope you feel better soon x

Hmm.. thing is, on paper, shifts is a far better option. More time off and much more money (same grade but the shift allowance is huge) for in fact doing a lot, lot less work. They have the same job title yet the jobs are vastly different, day to day - the day guys are constantly working, doing new starter inductions, giving training, doing all the engineering standby stuff, whereas the shift guys are glorified security guards and press the Gate Up/Gate Down button all day (frequently letting theives in because they cba to get up and actually check someone's reason for coming on to site!) but are also qualified firefighters so they can be in charge if there's an incident in the middle of the night before the brigade get there  (sorry, rant, much? :o) It's all about future plans and if he takes a shift job does he rule himself out of a higher position later.. we had all this before (between pregnancies) but now there's a new boss. Pah, I dunno.. it's about him and his aspirations

Docs for me this morning and then off to see friends later :)

No birthdays today? Who's next? :)

Hope everyone has a good day xx
