SS.. maybe you must go be checked at the hospital then.. to be on the safe side.. just to guilt trip OH a little more.. and maybe have LO checked over too.. she might not have the allergy yet if she hasn't been exposed before so may now have the allergy so her reaction may be very severe next time!!
I'll take her to the paediatrician in the morning to do a full allergen test. We should really have done it already, but it's so horrible that I wanted to leave it. If I don't stop feeling foggy soon I'll go, but it was just a lick and I'd have to get dressed and go outside and I'm afraid of hospitals in spite of working in one.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Urgh! Michael jumped down from his top bunk, landed on Christopher who fell back against the bar on his bad and now has a huge bruise on his tail bone.
So explained to Michael that he has to be more careful and check where his little brother is before jumping down because Chrostopher can't get out the way fast enough. So Michael is going to teach him how to move fast, no, honey, that won't work, he knows how to move fast, he just can't manage it.0 -
Is anyone else amazed how tat seems to sell for loads on eBay, whereas some things I think are really nice don't sell at all.......it never fails to surprise me.
Mmmm, spaghetti and pesto for tea. My favourite! There are definitely advantages to having an OH who works evenings sometimes, like not having to please him with what I cook for tea.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

SS I have a history of anaphalaxis to an unknown foodstuff, so I and I get DH to do this too, when trying a potential danger food (nuts, strawberries) put a dab of it on fergies foot or leg first, wait a bit, check for a hive and only then go for it... It's cos my consultant told me to do it for myself on my lip with any new foods...
not sure if that method would work for you and DH, but it might make him feel there was no waste, and reassure you that no swelling would go on inside molly...
Feel free to ignore if sounds daft
me no likey hospitals neither

Genius, Weezl - I'm just so annoyed with him. I'm definitely pro not wasting food - but not when it's lethal, and I found a fuzzy tomato in the kitchen today as well so was already on a bit of a food safety warpath. What's even worse is that it tasted obviously wrong so he just didn't check it.
Molly seems fine, she's a bit subdued, but it's bedtime so she normally would be. OH or I will be keeping a close eye on her all night and he has taped a marker to the fridge so all baby food will be dated and not kept longer than three days.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I'm glad molly seems good.
With food allergies at least you know the reaction is swift, and so you feel better each hour nothing seems bad?
