I was going to write something but I can't remember what It was now...

Oh yeah, Beccles, sounds like a right kerfluffle getting your plumbing sorted! Must be a Darlington/Durham thing because my friend down there, his toilet is next door to the bath and sink. I mean, who designed those houses? Surely the toilet should at LEAST be in the same room as the sink!

I hated using the toilet there, I couldn't run the water in the sink to disguise noises

    YEY FOR 6 MONTH BABIES

BOO FOR DENTISTS. My teeth are wrecked, one of my gum has receded. Maybe because I kept poking said gum. Annoys me anyways and now I cant stop touching it! Can you get fake gums? Lol

Alex is 6months old today :T

Weighed on Monday and was 16lb 1oz.
    2oz short of 10lbs in 6 month

Aw wow! very close in weight throughout!!!

    Tara - fab email but professional is 1 x f and 2 x s.
    That treatment is disgusting,

I would add this bit in at the end.
At the very least I expect each point to be raised as a Significant Event, I would then like documented evidence that each point has been discussed at a multi-disciplinary meeting with further evidence that lessons have been learned from these mistakes and they will not happen in the future. I would also like a copy of your Significant Event policy so that I can ensure the procuedure has been followed fully as Sasha's experiences at the hospital show that many corners are cut and policies can't be followed if bins are not emptied & vital information missed from medical records. This shows that the clinicians involved have not even followed basic record keeping which is imperative in patient care and something perhaps the General Medical Council would be interested in.

    Morning all,

Isla's been weighed this morning and is now 12lb 4oz. We went to our first sling meet yesterday too and she was an angel, all smiles and giggles which was lovely.

Then we went to visit OH's parents which was all going well until she told me I've scared her by allowing Isla to wear an amber teething necklace as crystals/healing is 'the dark side' and I musn't tell others she wears it because it'll cause family problems  OH's dad is a minister so I can understand their beliefs are important to them but I personally am not a religious person but would never bellittle something they believe in. Why do they feel its acceptable to tell me something I believe in is wrong?! Im livid and told OH about it last night, luckily he can see where Im coming from but I feel as though I've been put in a really awkward position now.

Sorry to come on and rant, I just really needed to get that off my chest :o I'll go and read back now. Hope everyone's well x

Oh Glam, I've bought a weekly bus pass which covers me until Tuesday so it wouldnt be very MSE of me not to come to TC meet now :)

Tara - good email. If you haven't sent it yet just run a quick spell check on it though. I am appalled by the whole affair.

Am a little fuzzy headed this morning. Too much red wine

Long story about the email but I wrote it twice after loosing the first, so :o I know I should have spell checked but was too angry to care. Was too busy on the phone finally telling my Mum after 38yrs how carp she is so I just pressed send! Oops.

Thanks soooo much, have just sent another saying after taking further advice I would like this attatched to my first email. X
