Argh lol how did you know when to ring Aless?

(and for other people ) I dont know when to start timing them?

Would you say the contraction starts as soon as belly tightens and then finishes when it stops tightening, or would you say its when you feel the surge of pain from the back and uterus start till the pain stops?

I just somehow managed to falll asleep for hald an hour on sofa (ive been awake since 11.30 last night) so I might see if I can sleep a little?

used to pick out bits I didn't like too, but when I was pregnant with Aimee I used to force things down because I figured the nutrients would be good for the baby... I mostly kept the habit after she was born... I also discovered I liked a few things I always thought I didn't like!

Incidentally, has anyone started eating differently since they had the baby? I never used to like sweet things with my savoury (pineapple on pizza, sweet an sour, roast parsnips etc...) but since I had Caitlyn I love these sorts of thing! Is that bizarre or what?!

Koag, I would time from when one pain stops until the next pain starts, wether it's front or back... Try kneeling and leaning forward to help the back ache, and pop a couple of paracetamol (you never know, they could help...) I would ring when it seems like no time between on finishing and the next one starting.... Or you can't cope with it anymore and feel you need some more pain relief :) good luck!!

Grargh I've come home from the office. I went to pick up my white coat, only to discover that it took them the ten days' requisition time to decide whether I'm allowed a white coat at all since I'm only a visiting scholar and not a full-contract doctor. So it'll be another ten days. HMPH.

kindof, I don't know! I never got the hang of timing mine :o they always seemed to sneak up out of nowhere so by the time I figured out I was having one, it was half over and then I couldn't tell when it ended, either!

bleurrrgh, someone decided they were going to kick off at 4am so we're a bit bleary-eyed chez Aless.

Glam, there must be WAY more MS jobs up north as it's pretty slim-pickings for me! Are you signed up lots of companies or just a few?

Signed up with about 7 or 8 but 13 of the jobs have been with the same company and 12 of them are the same job just in different stores :)
