Keely my DS was slow at talking. Well more so than others cos his pronunciations of some words were still bad by 4 or 5ish and i had to nag the docs to refer us for speech therapy cos nursery had mentioned it. It was lots of 'sch' sounds (like a german hehe). Speech therapist said she didn't see a problem as he could make all the right noises, but not always at the right times.

Also, i was nosing through some old parent club threads last night - did you have problems with your neighbours too? It all sorted now?

Hi, yes i did and still do have on going problems with my neighbours. I'm hoping it will come to an end soon (we've had to record sound and images ourselves, as the EH wouldn't give us any equipment, not ideal but we've got some good footage so far).

Caitlyn hasn't progressed anything past dadadada yet... Nor does she clap, and she only just started cuddling... Did I mention she stands alone for whole minutes at a time though?

I wish I could, my dad needs me to go over and let the British gas men in to sort his boiler out (and ill have to round up the 3 cats first and keep elliot near by lol). He may need a new boiler though hope not just yet.

I'm back after a nap and a coffee Feeling much better, so is Chris by the looks of it (chasing Michael about with balloons). SOrry Elle, my doorframes are 82 so never had a problem with that gate. It fit the bedroom frames too which I think are smaller, will measure shortly.

elle- active fit nappies, you get loads less than the normal baby-dry. bit of a rip-off and never get the jumbo boxes either

been to bury for a mooch round the shops. not bought much...got some disposable bibs in bodycare 20 for 99p very mse as they are £2+ for about 12 in asda.

heading into manchester on tues.

sis going to book ferry to go home as its increasingly looking like there maybe no flights this week either. but booking now means she gets decent times etc

Elle, I've not measured my doorframe, but I have a lindham one up in the living room and I had to take one of the adjuster spinny things off one side to make it fit, but it fits fine...

Never mind Keely, there's always the week after next! Does your Dad have british gas cover?

Bedroom doors are 80cm. looking at it, it probably would fit your doors. Worth the risk at that price?

We actually binned our two before I found out about Amber! Don't know if we will bother with another one.

James usually says it. They have two different prayers they say in school and he'll pick one of them.

Meant to say with all the nappy talk, don't buy the Pampers Simply Dry ones in the orange packets. They're really rubbish. I bought a small pack after getting a half price voucher from Tesco, and I was glad when we finished them.

Snap. Same for finn - that and very generous fairies (:o). In fact, the only clothing i've bought in a shop with our own money was a £1.50 pack of vests from primark!!

Have to get used to the new timings still...doesn't feel like 7 o'clock already. Praying our newly adjusted routine today helps finn stay asleep tonight and not backfire to worse sleep or something (my worst fear when tweaking anything).

Can i make some sort of chocolate frosting without icing sugar, i wonder? ...

!!!!!!- we have four packs of these in the next size. I bought them on a Boots glitch ages ago.

Had the most amazing day today. We did the garden this morning, then went to the beach this afternoon. We took a picnic and it was just heavenly- OH and I sat and munched our healthy picnic and read the papers while H happily rolled around on the picnic blanket. Then had a wander along the seafront, fed H on a lovely quiet bench looking out at the sea.

OH has now gone out for the evening so I have full control of the remote. Gonna catch up on some Sky+. I can't believe tomorrow is my first KIT day. It seems mental that the time has gone so fast. Looking forward to it though.

Might go and make a SW friendly cake....not sure if I can be arsed though.
