phoned tax credits (guess who forgot to update their address!) and they cannot take the new income until i recieve the renewal form, she said i wont get it until may??Mel, DS is excitedly awaiting his reply
The lodge looks lovely! Infact... it's now on my maybe list
Caz, I thought they could update income details at any time? Did you play up and say you were finding things difficult and couldn't afford food? For all the time takes, they do it there and then!
They always do it like that, every year....most of the year you can just phone at any time, but to do the 'renewel' you have to wait until you have received your pack, then you can phone...Something to do with them not overloading the system so they do it batch by batch and once your pack has been sent out your file goes into awaiting renewel details status! Some tosh like that anyway....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I hope tax credits send me my stuff last, I CBA with their mammoth forms coming through the door. They can't just send one either, it's two or four or six, then you change ONE tiny detail and you get it all again. No wonder my kitchen drawers are a mess.
Went into town with Keira, ARGH she was a nightmare. Being gobby, moaning, whinging, kept wandering away in shops and then pretending she was on the phone to people but bawling out at about 1000 decibles.
Not taking her back in town again  Well at least not when she is tired because she is a mare and I now have a headache.
Also thought I had lost stuff I had bought her for her Bday from Claires accessories, but after phoning, they had forgot to pack it. Phew!
Got her a nice cardi, and 2 dresses from New look reduced, so that was good. £4 on her Bday dress - Get in!
Clear !!!!!! hole house commences tomorrow, bathroom is a disgrace, the living ain't too bad, just the dining table never seems to get clear, ever!
Caz - Ouch £50 a week is a lot!0 -
glad its not only me that gets 6 copies at a time! i have even phoned and asked why and they couldnt give me an answer lol!
i know £50 is what it takes to fill my car up so having to wait until they move their buts is crap! i know we were really under the estimate too so i am hoping for a nice lump sum! What's for you won't go past you0 -
Caz, my tc dropped by £40 for the last 3wks, but apparantly it goes up by £30 again as of Monday?? I have no idea why it went down so much as it was only because Kai turned 1yr old so should have gone down by maybe £10.....
Last year my pack came really quickly but one of the years before it didn't come till July!!!!
I alos suffer with being sent a million copies...what a waste of paper.
Told dh the Lodge got high approval, he was very pleased as I am normally the one who sorts out daytrips/holidays etc...but after the last disaster I told him I was leaving it up to him. Apparatnly we can have rose petals on the bed for £10 and a champagne and chocolate hamper for £35.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Afternoon all.. have read through to catch up and now forgot what I was going to reply to... I'm inspired by the break making though. I might have to [strike]bake some bread[/strike] weigh some stuff out and bung it in the bread maker later.
We've had a lovely afternoon playing in my parents garden. I left Izzy with them while I went off for my physio appointment, and I do'nt think she even noticed I was gone. I now have some exercises to do to strengthen my knees. One of them is that I have to stand on one leg! I feel like a bit of an old lady - it is like the exercises the physio gives to my grandad - he has to get up from his chair, sit down, get up again etc for 10 repeats.

it could be the formula that is 'bunging' hinm up. K was like that on the Hipp milk but once we stopped using it he was ok after a day or so.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Mine too!!Woohoo! Tesco days out vouchers have arrived!
Plus we have a voucher to use with train tickets that's worth a wopping £12 off a family ticket to Cadbury world!
My Mum bought us one off a car boot last year but alas it didn't make it in my waste land of a garden...stupid question- where would i get a rhubarb root from as i couldnt see any in the garden centre? i thought about asking on freecycle?
Dora, Hubby would have gotten a kick in the back for that kind of behaviour!!! Mine asked if he could have the potty the other week when he was ill... I wouldn't let him, he's a grown up, they use the toilet for all bodily fluid expulsions!!
Bath time for the children... Aimee wants me to crinkle her hair so I'll have to got and get my hair crimpers back from 1988 in preperation... Got a wedding to go to tomorrow, hubby's cousin... We completely can't afford it, such a posh hotel... But it has a pool!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

If it's just wind, the problems babies have is the wind is in lots of tiny little bubbles that they can't pass. What you need to do is something to get all the bubbles to join together in a big bubble that they can pass.
Two things that worked with Charlotte was "walking" your fingers from side to side across her tummy. Press down fairly firm and you should feel a sort of popping feeling under your finger ends as the bubbles join up.
The other one is "I love you". When he's on his back say "I" while pressing your fingers on his skin and moving them from under his rib cage down to his hip. Then say "love" while going under the ribs from left to right. Then "you" is an upside down U shape going from left hip, under ribs and down to right hip. Do that a few times and you should get a huge pump! She also always takes her sandwiches apart and eats the bits separately so I now just give her all the bits spearately rather than putting them together.
I used to do that in the boys school lunchboxes for a change some days and they called it a Mammy-lea Lunchable instead of Dairylea :rotfl:
Still busy here but managed to squeeze in a go on EA Active, so I've got jelly thighs now. Charlotte wanted to play and she was doing squats and stuff. Looked so funny, but I hope I don't look like that when I'm doing it
Here I go again on my own....0 -
