Did people give their opinions on your child choices? It's none of their business how many children you choose to have.

oh yes! my MIL (who wasn't actually MIL then because we weren't married) didn't talk to either of us for a week when OH told her about Chris, then VERY regulary said that there was no need to have another until Chris was at school. Since announcing that we were expecting Ed it is often said that "that's it now" and things to that effect.
MIL is also seemingly apaulled that her neice is expecting a baby in June that is quite likely to have Edwards syndrome (our info is 3rd hand via elderly relative so details are sketchy but from what we gather the nuchal fold sugests it) she was quite shocked when I told her that I wouldn't have known if either of my boys had it as I refused the tests.

I'm not bothered about it but I know if we told family we weretrying for #3 there'd be comments so to keep it a nice time for us we won't tell until the 12wk scan is donethey have to be happy for us;)

all this talk of rockers and jumperoos and where to put little one's has made me think about maybe getting something for Thomas other than his bouncy chair but what would be really useful would be some kind of upside down hook thingummy to hang things off like just the arm of a mobile IYKWIM, not a complete arch as then we could use it on the car seat and cot too - do such things exist or have a I lost the plot????

am pleased with myself today as finally got round to ringing for a tax credits claim form - we were over the threshold last tax year but definitely under it this year now I am not working. Bizarrely was told we have to claim based on 09/10 to get a Nil assessment and then tell them of the change of circumstances to get 20 quid a week til Christmas which will be very handy. Never even thought we'd be entitled to anything but seems we are :)

fairy alert - none of Tom's 0-3 month bodysuits fit him anymore (if it weren't for the bumgenius nappies they would), I cleared out a whole load of stuff to the local BHF shop yesterday but forgot the vests? They've all been washed in eco non-bio powder and are mostly white so unisex. This fairy can be a bit rubbish at getting to the post office tho so nearer 0 than 3 months would be best!
