help please.

Options
i shut my main desktop down y/day everything shut down normally ,but today it will not even turn on,i checked power ,fuse etc...,any ideas???

thinking of taking it to pc world to be repaired?

    check the switch at the back where the power lead goes in, might be off

    Sounds like the PSU but it could still just be a fuse blown in the PSU.

    That sounds expensive to me! On this page for example, there are loads to choose from and there are nine listed for less than £40 but it depends on your requirements.

    i think it maybe still worth reparing if it is that,its still i fairly good pc its a 2.4 and 512mb ,to buy that again i think would cost more wouldnt it?

    69.99 is not cheap and being pc world I'm sure they'll charge quite a premium on parts as well. A small independant computer shop would be better if you don't want to replace the psu yourself.
