But yes you are right to check the brakes, probably not right to get it checked at kwikfit. I would even go as far as to avoid ATS these days. Small independent garages usually charge a better price than the big nationals do. Did you not have a warning light on the car long before it got to this stage though? Sorry, never driven a micra but every car I have driven has had a warning light when brake pads get low enough to reveal the censor.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Depends how bad the noise is before you lay into the op.
Micra's can have the wear warning tabs on the front pads, to make a noise when they wear low. It's when that stops, then gets a lot louder days later it's time to worry.0
