  • Hi Mummy, shame about the BBQ, but best to cancel if hubby not feeling to bright, we all know how grumpy they get when they are not 100% (worse than kids) and you can have a chill out day and relax, thats an order:D.

Hi hope you had a good day, even without the friends round for the bbq. (think of all the food you saved)

I've never tried online shopping, I'm lucky having Asda, Tesco, Morrisons & Sainsburys all within 10 mins drive, I do use mysupermarket to compare the prices though.

    Morning everyone!!

Well the BBQ did go ahead in the end, DH got up bright as a button as if nothing had even been going on and said he still wanted to go ahead! I just used up the food that was in the house instead of buying more which means thats some of our meals for this week gone now!! Oh well! Did have a make a quick trip to the local shop for some pittas as the ones I bought Friday had gone mouldy eeww!!
I could have killed him though he used the steak id bought for the burritos and then no-one even wanted it cos they were full on everything else so the dog ate it ggrrrr!!!

    Hi pennywise!

Hi whatatwit, well re the online, I really like doing it as it does save so much time. However saying that I do feel I manage to pick up more food for less money if I actually go in myself.

So the plan for this week is NSD today and tomorrow. Then bread and milk Wednesday and probably another shop Friday which hopefully will push us through for another 10 days.

3 of my ebay items sold last night making me £10 which im going to leave in the paypal as if I transfer it over it will probably be spent without knowing it! Ive got to post the items today but wont count the postage as a spend seen as they paid it and I will document the spend with the paypal money if you know what I mean!

    Happy Monday everyone x

    Hello fellow MSE's!

Pennywise, re the steak it was rock hard as it hard been on the BBQ a little too long! I was eyeing it up to use but it was just black! So the dog got a nice treat for his tea!!

Minnime, thanks for popping in. im getting quite addicted to this site, only manage to get on whilst im at work really though! Will you be starting a diary too?

Well ive done more surveys, im up to 250 on opinion world now. So once I can transfer that into paypal il have a good £20 odd in there.

Ive found that since starting my diary and being more focused I seem to care more about my house too! Dont know if theres any link but I was mopping the floors at 11pm on Friday night which I would never had dreamt of doing before!! Im really starting to get everything in order.

I popped out at lunch and posted my ebay stuff. I relisted some of the stuff that didnt sell last night and ive already got a bid on one thing. Thing is I wanted them to end Sunday but forgot to change the date thing from 3 days to 7. Might edit the things that havent got bids tomorrow to end Sunday then theyve got longer on there...

  • Hi Mummytogirls !
Thanks for popping by on my diary, am in a bit of a 'funk' (whatever that means but it feels like I'm in one!) , but will worlk my way out of it somehow.

You are right about posting on here, it is addictive and has a way of putting you back in control in many areas of your life, little things make the big things happen I guess.

Well done on the surveys, I notice Lightspeed is not on your list, that's the only one I do but seem to be good.

Well July is coming and I'm hopefully gearing myself up to behave on the spending front.

    Have a good day.

Morning different corner, thanks for popping by!

Hope you work your way our of your 'funk' soon!!!

Ooohhhh will join lightspeed too thanks for the tip.

Well nothing too MSE to report from here this morning. Although I am mad that Tescos have took the money but no refund as yet. They blame the bank and the bank blame the supermarket so round in circles we go! If its not in by tomorrow il be ringing again since they supposedly refunded it Friday lunchtime .

Got a busy spending day tomorrow, need bread (today) and then petrol & car tax tomorrow. I was going to get 12m tax but since im selling it and want rid soon think il just get 6m.

Had 2 loads of washing to put out this morning, but its very grey so instead its all strewn all over my dining table, chairs and radiators!! Really need to get an airer for day like this. I refuse to use my drier in summer.

Right best get on, happy rainy Tuesday everyone :D
