You've reminded me I have my eye test next month
I've got a voucher for it though
I do envy your 20:20 vision, mine is deteriorating - working on a computer all day + age unfortunately, need glasses for reading now
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I can't believe you still have a Christmas stash MTG
I used to have perfect eyesight until I was 48 and then I suddenly couldn't see to read unless I held a book at arms length, so now I have to have reading glassesFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Afternoon Diary,
Just a quick one as I'm expecting a friend over any minute. So we did something not very MSE and booked a holiday last night. We always go away and do something and it doesnt add to the debt so I don't feel guilty plus we got a free chid place. Just over £2000 for a weeks all inclusive in Spain. The reviews look good so I'm hoping we wont spend much when were there. Ive never been all inclusive before!!! Ive just been working paying it off into the next couple of months budgets.
Today we have taken the girls to spend some of their Christmas and birthday money. They didn't spend a great deal tbh, but they got a few bits they were after. I spent £10 in b00ts on shampoo, conditioner and face wash and £16 on a friends 50th present.
Right best go, friends just knocked! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -

Hi Mummy great news regarding the holiday. We did the AI holiday when my 2 were in primary and it was fantastic, no worrying about the cost of things, food was fantastic and loads to choose from, it just made life easy with younger children. Only money we actually spent all week on that holiday was a day trip out to a water park, other than that the kids spent the time buy the pool, playing tennis, playing in the kids playground and on the beach. It was also full of families so the kids made loads of friends.
In fact We might do it again next year as its got to be the cheapest option with a teenage boy that never stops eating :rotfl:.0 -

If the holiday is budgeted and not increasing the debt then it is MSE :money:
