Evening Diary,
Managed to do all my jobs today, left about a load of ironing and then have another load that came in off the line so thats loads more ironing to do tomorrow afternoon.
Spent £49 exactly in Mr Al's... would have been slightly cheaper if id not had the kids in tow but hey ho could be worse too!!
The girls and some of the kids on the street picked blackberries this afternoon and then they made a crumble with my help. It was really nice and they all enjoyed it out in the street with some custard!
Food today:
Breakfast - 2 slice of toast (had this late-ish so didn't have lunch)
Tea - slow cooker fahitas
Snacks - popcorn, fruit crumble and 3 oaty biscuits
Just got back from DD1s football training... have actually not stopped today!
DFOD, its the school milk which needs paying for termly.
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -

Afternoon Diary,
Soooo tired today, we had such a thunderstorm in the night I actually woke up at 1am startled at what was going on! My heart was actually beating into the bed!
Weve been up and about early this morning as my old employer had invited the girls along to a very well known museum round here to do some testing for an award. This meant we got free entry to the museum which is usually over £38 for us 3 . We did have an annual ticket a few years ago but the girls have out grown it a bit now so we haven't been for a while and I wouldn't pay to go now they are older but it was fab a couple of years ago. We ended up having lunch as I hadn't taken any expecting us not to be there that long! Rookie error obvs! £18.50 spent on lunch.
We called in at Mr S in that town to pick up peppercorn sauce for tea and picked up some uniform as they had 25% off and a bottle of prosecco for a present and a plant for my friends mum who lent us the satnav... £43 spent
Just got home and crashed. Have a mountain of ironing but just feel too tired to even do it! DD2 has dancing in an hour so need to make sure I don't nod off!!!
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Hey mummytogirls! Thought I'd jump on over! Wow I'm not surprised your tired! What a busy day! I've taken a stand against the ironing and am not doing any anymore, apart from school uniforms and OH's occasional shirts. I've discovered if I'm quick enough at getting them out of the machine and hanging them up, I don't need to iron them, that and I'm far too lazy!!!! Need to catch up on your diary, I have so much to read!!! X0

Have a lovely day x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Had a chilled but productive day so far here!! Went to my friends parents to drop the satnav off last night so we didn't get in until nearly 9 so the girls had a lie in this morning which was welcomed after busy days this week!!
So I've managed to do all my jobs, cleaned the dishwasher, sorted a load of washing, cleaned the bathrooms, mopped the floors, cleaned the kitchen and completed the ironing. Just having a little catch up on here and il hoover and polish at some point before tea.
DH and I are out at a party tonight, so kids are being babysat by one of the our friends teenagers. She's very sensible and I hope they behave!! They usually go to grandparents if we go out so will see how this goes!
Missy, I do like to peg out so can't use your trick but will try it when I have to start using the TD again!! Thanks for the tip.
SA, DFOD and HI thank you for your posts
So not too much to report here today really! Just a boring but needed house day! Happy Friday all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hey sounds like a very productive day. I don't iron stuff even off the line,
If I'm quick enough getting it or of the washing machine and shake them out before I hang them on the line, nothing is too creased.
Mind you, I'm not that particular about creases
I Think a lot of people are having a chilled day from what I'm reading!0
