Morning Diary,
Were back!!!!! Had an absolutely fantastic time away and again as in previous years weve brought money back with us. The places we seem to choose don't have many places to eat out and we would have a drink in the bar each night but it wasn't majorly expensive. I did take some food things with us but the majority was bought out there including fresh baguette and pain au chocolate each day.
So back to the washing... only got about 5 loads after I've just added to it from the last day we were at home. 2 loads done and pegged out... 3 to go. DH dared to suggest I use the TD  weather is beautiful here today after an awful week of rain reported from the neighbours so looks like we brought the sunshine home with us for once!
Just waiting for Mr T's to come with my little shop I've ordered. Only £40 worth of essentials until I can brave Mr Al's!
Hope all ok, will catch up today xxMummytogirls x0 -

Evening diary,
Thanks all as much as id love to be sunning myself on a lounger right now all good things must end!!! Looks like we have brought the weather back with us as its been lovely again today and tomorrow is looking good too
Managed to get all 5 of my wash loads line dried too :money:, gave the washer a day off today:rotfl:
So today we met up with friends at a local park. Spent around £10 on ice cream, pedal boats and parking. Not bad for 4 hours out. Took a packed lunch to keep costs down.
We called and got the car washed on the way home which was £5 well spent after the state of the windscreen thanks to the birds and front thanks to the flies!
I then hoovered it out and it looks amazing now ha!!!
Then I mowed the grass :A!
Tomorrow we are meeting at the farm we went to the other week with some of my colleagues and their kids. Tickets already paid for online as it made it cheaper. Taking a packed lunch with us and thinking of doing us all pasta instead of sandwiches.
Been back to it with my eating and gyming today.. well kind of with the eating given I haven't really been shopping properly yet. I went to body combat class and worked really hard so was pleased with that.
Food:
Breakfast - porridge with banana and nutella
Lunch - Cheese sandwich, hula hoops, strawberries and 1/2 an apple
Tea - chicken, bacon and leek in creamy dijon sauce, roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli
Snack - toffee crisp biscuit
Oh I had to open up a case with Quidc0 about some declined cb which I'm not happy about! Im actually waiting on over £90 worth of cb and they don't half seem to drag their heels.
Think thats all, hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Sounds like a lovely day
The sun was shining all day here tooRaining now though! I don't mind rain in the evening if its dry in the day :rotfl:

Glad you had a great time. The weather here has been awful so you were lucky to be in the sunshine. What a pain about the cash back, hope it clears soon. X

Morning Diary,
Didn't even sit in my living room yesterday so didn't get on to post!
We had a lovely time at the farm and missed DD's swimming lesson as we didn't get back in timeone week won't hurt and too many times I've stressed to try and do everything and the kids were having so much fun I didn't want to end that. £5 spent on ice creams and then £30 spent in the farmshop on meat. I literally threw the kids in and then was straight back out to meet up with some friends for a curry!
Food yesterday plus lots of walking!
Breakfast - porridge with banana and nutella
Lunch - red pesto and pepper pasta, strawberries, blueberries and mini cookies
Tea - chicken bhuna and garlic naan
Snack - honeycomb ice cream and 1/2 a slice of garlic bread
So today we had a little lie in as the kids were still awake at 10.30 last night when I got home plus weve had 2 busy days. They are currently watching Storks which will keep them quiet for a bit. Ive just done a small uniform order which came in at £36 for their logo'd stuff. They have lots from last year which is in good condition so I've ordered minimal things!!! Im just wondering if DD1 could do with the next size up jumper but its fine for now and will just order 1 to school if needs be. I begrudge buying loads as she leaves next year anyway!!
So jobs for today include:
- peg washing out once the washer finishes
- file away all the holiday items... passports etc
- text friends mum about returning the satnav
- Mr Al's for a small shop to see us through to payday
- put tea in slow cooker as we will be late back from DD's football training
- play freezer jenga to fit bits in
Ive done a meal plan for the next week which looks like this:
Weds - slow cooker pulled fahitas
Thurs - steak and chips (bought yesterday)
Fri - freezer (really need to empty this again as no idea whats in it!)
Sat - think my dads coming over for a takeaway
Sun - roast chicken and trimmings
Mon - cornish pasty and peas (in freezer)
Tues - sausage and mash (sausage in freezer)
Weds - slow cooker curry
Thurs - chicken kievs (bought yesterday will freeze)
Don't you just love when you can do pretty much a full weeks meals out of the freezer
HI and Emmie, I hope the weather is still being kind to you guys xxMummytogirls x0 -
