Sounds like the best place for DH is the man cave :(

I took the pepper back, got my money back for the whole pack.

Well done on the NSD, I've not managed any yet.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Afternoon Diary,

What a glorious day its been today... well from what I could see out of the office window! I knew it would be nice so I'd put some washing out over the airer this morning and its practically dried :j, I've just put it round the radiators to make sure its fully fully dry.

Thanks for your support SA and Bob! Im glad you got a refund SA and Bob no its not! He does have a high level job but its literally not even 2 hours a week he has to do this for so I have no sympathy.

So today will be a small spend day.. £5 in the coop on butter and crumpets (DH cycles Tuesday so wouldn't be able to bring it home tonight either which is annoying ) and then I have my eye brow waxing this evening which will be paid for out of my own spending money.

Other than that not a bad day xx

Just withdrawn £20 from p@ypal following the sale of a pair of DD's old Hunters. Will save that towards her bedroom decorating I think x

  • Well done on the ebay sale! And glad the weather is good for you too. The change is weather is definitely helping everyone's moods in the office today :) I'm so excited to be able to leave work and it still be light (just!) - a couple more weeks and then I should be able to start walking part of my journey home instead of scurrying from the office to the nearest tube station like some kind of human-mole hybrid.

My "personal care" category in YNAB is pretty much just for my eyebrows and haircuts. I can DIY mostly everything else but I refuse to start messing around with my eyebrows!

    Evening (again!) diary,

Just been doing the online shop for Saturday so thought id pop in for another catch up.

You're all going to love this.... washing alert!!! Its going to be nice again tomorrow so I've loaded up my airer again ready to go out tomorrow morning.

GC - I agree its totally amazing how much better people are in the sunshine. Also refuse to do my own eyebrows as it makes my eyes water horrendously so best just to get waxed ha! Over in minutes!!

So thats about all! Will catch up tomorrow xx

    Evening Diary,

Just a flying visit... can't believe how wild this week has turned after Tuesday! Been so busy, had a few bits going on at work which are sorted now thankfully and now sporting a lovely well I think its an ulcer on my lip, its not a cold sore and its like on the inside of my lip as a mirror image of the outside . rundown.com!

Anyway, DH has cleaned since getting home and I've caught up with my ironing from the past 2 loads. I know I say this all the time but I really don't know where it all comes from! Ive got another 2 loads sorted out tonight

Il catch up properly with everyone over the weekend xx

  • I always get ulcers when I am run down, it's a sure sign. Hope you're able to relax even just a little over the weekend.
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.
