    Hi M2G,

I hope you are feeling better this evening.

Not a nice week to be poorly when the weather has been so nice :(

When is your last day at work?

DD1 finishes school tomorrow and DD2 on Friday

    Evening Diary,

Yay schools out for summer :j:T

So yesterday was pretty uneventful and got all my work sorted in good time. We went out for tea last night to celebrate which was nice.

Today I've been busy. Woke up before 7 to horrendous leg cramp, couldn't even straighten my leg out. DH took girls to football and I cracked on with the cleaning.

This afternoon DD2 and I went to a garden centre and spent £50 on various bits and pieces for the garden. My pots look even nicer now if I do say so myself!

So tomorrow DD1 has a football tournament which starts at 9am

Ive just set a load of washing to be pegged out before we go!

    Hope all ok x

    Afternoon Diary,

Wow I am shattered today! We were up early this morning for a football tournament and have pretty much done nothing this afternoon!

Ive just made chicken kievs for tea, they were delicious if I do say so myself!

DF0D, we don't mind a little washing update do we :rotfl:

Last night I ordered a nutribullet.. been dying for one for ages and hoping for this to kick start my healthy eating again and wanting to get the kids into smoothies again. Im picking it up tomorrow.

So I've ordered the school uniform this afternoon, as well as socks, tights, swimming costume for DD1 as she needs a plain one for September, PE kits and tracksuits. All budgeted for by my word doesnt it cost a fortune!

Tomorrow we are meeting up with friends at a local park so that should be minimal spends on parking and an ice cream. Ive already prepared the picnic, my kitchen currently stinks of egg mayo ;)

    Hope all ok anyway xx

    Morning Diary,

A lovely morning here :), just waiting for my washer to finish as I'm sure you have already guessed ha!!

Yesterday we had a lovely day, went to a park to meet some friends and took a picnic. Spent £1 on parking, £2 on the paddle boats and £5 on ice creams, great day had by all including my purse!!

Kids slept at my mums last night, which is a very rare thing and in all honesty I can't wait to go and get them back which will be shortly!! We walked them over there and then DH and I walked back which will have been about 4 miles :T

Other than that weve not really got many plans for the today and tomorrow.

    Hope all ok x

  • I have started up a diary again and just browsing on here for the first time in quite a few years.... just wanted to say a huge WELL DONE for getting so far with your debt :) I read your first post about 100 years to being debt free... yet your latest update was well over 50% paid. Amazing work! :T:T

    Afternoon Diary!

Just having a quick catch up before doing my online shop. Having a quiet day at home today, kids have chilled out this morning which helps! Ive invited their friends round this afternoon from about 3.30pm as I know they'll be 'boooooored' by then even though weve been busy every day this week.

DH is in London today so I can get away with a quick, cheap and easy tea of jacket potatoes (which DH hates!).

Thanks PPB, its been a slog at times and slowed down more recently but we seem to have the balance between paying off and having a life right at the moment even if it does take longer.

    Hope all ok x
